These terms describe how visitors may use the Ipg Photonics website, product information, and RFQ workflow. The website is provided for business-to-business evaluation of tooling, equipment, and machinery programs. Content on the site is informational and does not create a manufacturing commitment, accepted purchase order, certification claim, or guaranteed delivery obligation unless a separate written agreement is executed by authorized representatives.
RFQ submissions
When you submit CAD notes, drawings, specifications, or project details through the RFQ form, you confirm that you are authorized to share those materials for review. The engineering desk may use the submission to evaluate manufacturability, build route options, process risks, lead-time assumptions, inspection needs, and quote scope. A response may include questions, assumptions, exclusions, or recommended drawing changes. It is not an acceptance of production responsibility until commercial terms, drawings, revision levels, quality requirements, and delivery obligations are agreed in writing.
Technical information
Examples, tolerances, materials, inspection practices, and process descriptions on this website are general references. Actual capability depends on geometry, material condition, equipment availability, approved suppliers, regulatory requirements, and the final drawing. Do not rely on website content as the sole basis for safety-critical, regulated, or production release decisions. For programs requiring ISO, AS9100D, ITAR, medical, aerospace, or customer-specific controls, the applicable scope must be confirmed in the written quote and quality plan.
Intellectual property and acceptable use
You may not copy, scrape, resell, or misrepresent the website content as your own service offering. You may use the site to evaluate a business purchase, request information, or communicate with the RFQ desk.
